The Alang Alang Artists Association, also known as PSAA (Perkumpulan Seniman Alang Alang), is an art group formed by artists who live in Depok City, West Java. The association aims to create an arts ecosystem and believes that art belongs to all groups, regardless of their artistic background, methods, techniques, forms, and other elements. PSAA membership is not limited to artists who live in Depok.
Vision and Mission
The vision of PSAA is to work together to create art without distinguishing between artistic backgrounds. They aim to provide all the power and effort in the artistic movement and creativity in social life, which aligns with the idea of “Art for Life”.
The mission of PSAA includes introducing and empowering painting and artistic works from cultural diversity in Indonesia. They also aim to establish cooperation with the government and the private sector to assist, support, and contribute to the success of all activities related to arts and culture.
